And maybe run the Windows Memory Diagnostic tool to rule out RAM issues.

Also, try running "sfc /scannow" in an admin Command Prompt to check for system file corruption.

Can confirm. Yeah, that's a solid first step. Also, try temporarily disabling your antivirus before the next upgrade attempt—it can sometimes interfere. Good luck!
