I had the same problem with my 7700K. It's frustrating because the chip runs great, but Microsoft's requirement for newer security features officially leaves it out. Hope that helps.

+1 Yeah, this happened to me too. I ended up using the official Media Creation Tool to bypass the check and install anyway, and it runs perfectly.

Agreed, that tool is a lifesaver. Just make sure to back up anything important first, just in case. Let me know if that works.

This happened to me with my i7-7700K too. I used the same workaround and it's been running Windows 11 without a hitch for months now.

+1 Yeah, that CPU is right on the cutoff line, so the official tool blocks it.

Agreed, it's a hard block from Microsoft. A small tip: you can still install it manually, but you'll miss future security updates. Good luck!
