This. Agreed, and one more thing: after you enable those settings in BIOS, you might need to also turn off BitLocker temporarily for the upgrade to go smoothly.

Yeah, and did you also check if your motherboard's TPM is set to "Firmware" mode and not just "Discrete"?

Same here. You could also try a clean install from a USB drive, as the installer sometimes bypasses those checks.

I had the same problem. I finally got TPM enabled, only to have the installer fail halfway through and roll back.
