Yeah, You could also double-check that the TPM is both enabled and set to "Discrete" mode in the BIOS, not just turned on.

Agreed. Also, make sure you've got the latest BIOS update from HP's website, as that can sometimes enable proper TPM support.

+1 Yeah, and after you flash the BIOS, double-check that the TPM is actually set to "Enabled" and not just "Available" in the security settings. Let me know if that works.
