Yeah, I had the same problem. For me, the real culprit was the TPM 2.0 setting being disabled in the BIOS, even though the chip was there.

Yeah, You could also check if Secure Boot is enabled in the BIOS, as that's another common requirement that gets overlooked. Let me know if that works.

Agreed. Also, double-check that TPM 2.0 is enabled in the BIOS, not just present. That one trips up a lot of Optiplex models. Let me know if that works.

You could also try manually enabling Secure Boot in the BIOS, as that's another common requirement it might be silently failing on.

Another option is to check if TPM 2.0 is enabled in your BIOS, as that's a hard requirement it often misses.

This. Yeah, that's usually the culprit. Also, double-check that Secure Boot is turned on in the BIOS too. Hope that helps.

You could also try using the official Microsoft Media Creation Tool to do a clean install, which sometimes bypasses the checker's weird hangups.

Yeah, that clean install route is a solid last resort. One extra tip: double-check that TPM 2.0 is actually enabled in your BIOS—it's often off by default on those Optiplexes.

+1 You could also try using the official Microsoft Media Creation Tool to force the upgrade, which sometimes bypasses the checker's hiccups.
