This happened to me. After the BIOS update, I also had to clear the TPM from within Windows security settings before the check finally passed.

I had the same problem. I ended up having to disable fTPM, save and exit the BIOS, then go back in and re-enable it for the setting to truly take hold.

Also, after you re-enable it, try clearing the TPM from within Windows' security settings.

And just to be sure, is your BIOS fully updated to the latest version from ASUS?

Yeah, and after updating, double-check that the TPM is set to "Firmware TPM" and not "Discrete TPM" in the BIOS.

Agreed. Also, make sure you're saving those BIOS changes before exiting, sometimes it's an easy step to miss.

Same here. And just to double-check, is your BIOS itself fully updated? Sometimes an older version can cause issues even with the settings correct.

+1 I had the same problem. I ended up finding a separate "Intel Platform Trust Technology" setting in my BIOS that also needed to be enabled.

This happened to me on that exact board. After enabling Intel PTT, I also had to clear the TPM in the security settings before the check would finally pass.

This. I had the same problem. I also needed to update my BIOS to the latest version before the TPM setting would actually stick.
