Can confirm. You could also run the built-in privacy dashboard to review and lock everything down again. Another option is to create a system restore point before future updates.

Yeah, that's a common post-upgrade headache. A quick extra tip: double-check your privacy settings again after the first few reboots, as some can sneakily revert during early setup finalization.

Did you happen to use a Microsoft account to sign in? That can sometimes sync and override old preferences.

Agreed. This happened to me after the 23H2 update. Even on a local account, it felt like the setup just ignored some of my privacy choices.

This. It's a known issue with major updates; you might want to check if there's a pending cumulative update that addresses it.

Yeah, You could also run the privacy dashboard in Settings afterward to double-check everything. Another option is to use a third-party tool like O&O ShutUp10 for more granular control.

Yeah, I had the same problem after my upgrade. It felt like the custom setup I picked just got ignored for some of those privacy toggles. Let me know if that works.

Agreed, it's a common headache. A quick tip: run the privacy dashboard again from settings afterward to double-check everything stuck.
