Yeah, and if your motherboard is older, you might need a BIOS update to even see the TPM option.

This. I had the same problem. For me, the BIOS update didn't unlock it, and I ended up needing to clear the TPM in the security settings first.

Can confirm. Yeah, that's a solid suggestion. Also, double-check you have at least 64GB of free space on your system drive, as that can silently cause these failures.

Agreed. This happened to me too. I fixed it by removing all those old COM ports in Device Manager and then re-pairing the Joy. Good luck!

Yeah, I had the same problem. For me, it was the Windows Search indexing service going a bit crazy on the new drive.
