+1 This happened to me. I fixed it by booting from a Windows 10 USB and doing a startup repair, which rolled back the upgrade. Let me know if that works.

Same here. I had the same problem. Even with TPM and Secure Boot on, the installer still threw a fit about my CPU being unsupported. Good luck!

+1 You could also check if there's a BIOS update for your motherboard, as that can sometimes add proper support for an older CPU. Good luck!

Yeah, that fixed it for me too. Also, try disabling fast startup in Windows power options—sometimes that helps with weird freezes.

+1 This happened to me with an older i7. The official list is really strict, so I had to use the registry workaround to get the installer to run. Let me know if that works.

Ugh, so done with this. My workhorse Dell Optiplex 7040 won't take the Win 11 upgrade. Ran the PC Health Check and it just says "This PC doesn't meet the minimum system requirements." The main blocker? "Secure Boot is not supported by this PC."

I've been in the BIOS for an hour! There's NO Secure ...
