Can confirm. This happened to me, and for me it was a specific driver causing the conflict. I had to manually update my graphics driver from the manufacturer's website before it would finally go through.

I had the same problem. I ended up finding the TPM setting buried in my BIOS and just had to turn it on. Good luck!
