Has anyone else hit a wall trying to upgrade to Windows 11? My PC meets the CPU and TPM requirements, but the PC Health Check app keeps saying I don't have enough RAM. I have 4GB installed, which ran Windows 10 fine. The error just says "Doesn't meet minimum system requirements" with no other details. Is 4GB really not enough, or is there a way around this?

Not 100% sure, but I had this issue on an older laptop. Even though 4GB is technically the minimum, the upgrade tool can be picky about available free RAM during the check. Try closing every single app and background program, then run the check again. Let me know if that works.

Agreed. I had the same problem. Even after closing everything, it still flagged my 4GB, so I ended up adding another stick to get past it.

Agreed. Yeah, that's the official minimum, but in practice it seems like 4GB just isn't enough for the upgrade check to pass smoothly. Hope that helps.

Agreed. You might try running the upgrade directly from the Windows 11 Installation Assistant instead of the Health Check app—sometimes it works when the checker fails. Hope that helps.

You could also try a clean install from a USB drive, since the installer sometimes bypasses those checks. Another option is to double-check your RAM is actually running in dual-channel mode, as that can affect detection. Hope that helps.

Agreed. You could also try temporarily removing and reseating your RAM sticks to ensure they're properly detected. Another option is to check if a BIOS update is available, as that can sometimes resolve compatibility issues.

Yeah, that's solid advice. Also, double-check that your RAM is actually running at its full speed in the BIOS, as sometimes it can be underclocked.

Same here. Agreed. And if you have a spare slot, even adding another 4GB stick is pretty cheap and would definitely solve it.
