+1 I had the same problem. I ended up downloading a yellow icon pack online and replacing it manually through the shortcut properties.

Agreed. Yeah, that's the way to go. Just make sure you get the icons from a trusted site to avoid any junk.

+1 Yeah, and after you download the new icon, remember to right-click the shortcut, go to Properties, and change it there.

My File Explorer icon has always been blue, but I saw a friend's PC where it was?
