This happened to me too. I ended up using the official Media Creation Tool workaround and it's been running perfectly.

Can confirm. Yeah, that workaround is solid. Just be sure to back up anything important first, since it's a clean install.

Yeah, that CPU is a real bummer for the official upgrade. Have you considered just sticking with Windows 10 for now? It's supported until 2025.
