Agreed, and just a heads up—sometimes you have to enable both TPM and Secure Boot in the BIOS for it to work.

+1 Right, and if your motherboard is a bit older, the TPM setting might be listed as PTT or fTPM in the BIOS.

This happened to me with an older i7. I had to dig into the BIOS to find and enable the fTPM setting, and then the upgrade went through.
