+1 Yeah, that's a good point. Also, after you enable fTPM, make sure you save and exit the BIOS completely—just hitting F10 wasn't enough for me, I had to select "Save Changes and Reset."

This. You could also try updating your motherboard's BIOS to the latest version, as that often adds proper fTPM support for older Ryzen CPUs.

+1 I had the same problem with my Ryzen system. Updating the BIOS and then enabling AMD fTPM in the security tab finally got me past it.
