This. You could also try updating your motherboard's BIOS to the latest version, as that often adds proper fTPM support for older Ryzen CPUs.

This. Yeah, that's a solid fix. Just make sure you enable fTPM in the security settings after the BIOS update. Good luck!

+1 I had the same problem with my Ryzen system. Updating the BIOS and then enabling AMD fTPM in the security tab finally got me past it.
