You could also try removing all those old COM port entries in Device Manager, then re-pairing the Joy fresh. Another option is to check if a recent Windows update changed your Bluetooth driver and try rolling it back.

Agreed. Yeah, that's a solid approach. Also, make sure your Joy's firmware is up to date in Design Space, as that can sometimes cause weird Bluetooth issues. Let me know if that works.
