Yeah, that's a common snag. You might also need to enable both TPM and Secure Boot in your BIOS. Hope that helps.

Oh, and just to be sure, is your TPM module itself enabled in the BIOS, not just installed?

You could also check if there's a firmware update from your motherboard manufacturer to enable TPM 2.0, since some older boards got it that way.

Yeah, and you might need to actually go into your BIOS to turn that TPM 2.0 setting on after the update. Let me know if that works.

Same here. I had the same problem. My TPM was disabled in the BIOS even though the hardware was there, so I had to go in and manually enable it.

Agreed. I had the same problem. My i7-6700K actually does support TPM 2.0, but I had to update my motherboard BIOS to get it.

Agreed. You could also try manually enabling TPM 2.0 in your motherboard's UEFI/BIOS settings, as it's sometimes disabled by default.

Same here. Yeah, and if you do update it, you might need to manually enable TPM 2.0 in your BIOS after the firmware install. Good luck!
