Yeah, I had the same problem. After enabling TPM, I also had to find and enable a separate setting called "Intel Platform Trust Technology" before it finally worked.

This happened to me too. I also needed to switch from "Discrete TPM" to "Firmware TPM" in the security settings.

+1 Yeah, that's the fix. Also double-check Secure Boot is enabled in the BIOS—it's another sneaky requirement.

Agreed. You could also try using the official Microsoft Media Creation Tool to do a clean install, as it sometimes bypasses the checker's weird hangups. Let me know if that works.

Yeah, and if you're still stuck, double-check that Secure Boot is enabled in the BIOS too—it's another common requirement that gets missed. Hope that helps.

You could also try manually installing the TPM 2.0 firmware update from Lenovo's support site for your exact model.

I had the same problem. Even after enabling it in BIOS, I had to find a specific security setting and change it from "Discrete TPM" to "Firmware TPM" before it finally worked.

+1 Oh yeah, that's the exact setting—did you find the TPM mode option in the BIOS? Hope that helps.

Yeah, Also, after you enabled it, did you save and exit the BIOS so the setting actually sticks?

Can confirm. And just to be sure, is the TPM setting definitely set to version 2.0 and not 1.2 in that BIOS menu? Hope that helps.
