I had the same problem with a similar model. I ended up having to enable TPM 2.0 in the BIOS, which wasn't turned on by default.

This happened to me too. After enabling TPM, I also had to switch my disk from MBR to GPT before the installer would finally work.

Did you also check if Secure Boot is enabled in your BIOS? Hope that helps.

You could also try enabling TPM 2.0 in the BIOS, as that's a common requirement people miss. Good luck!

Another option is to check if Secure Boot is enabled in your BIOS, since Windows 11 needs that too.

This. I had the same problem with my ProDesk. I had to go into the BIOS and manually enable both the TPM and Secure Boot.

Agreed. Yeah, and after you enable those, you might need to run the Windows Update Assistant instead of the regular update check.

Yeah, and if that still doesn't work, try creating the installation media on a USB drive—it sometimes bypasses weird upgrade blocks.

Can confirm. You could also check if there's a newer BIOS version from HP's support site, since that can sometimes enable the TPM requirement.
