This. I had the same problem. Even after enabling TPM, I got stuck until I realized my boot drive wasn't formatted as GPT for that UEFI switch.

+1 You could also try using the official Media Creation Tool to do a clean install instead of an in-place upgrade.

Yeah, that CPU is actually on the borderline—did you ever check if TPM 2.0 is enabled in your BIOS?

I had the same problem. I ended up having to dig into my BIOS to manually turn on the fTPM setting for my AMD system.

This happened to me with my 6700K too. I had to enable both TPM and Secure Boot in the BIOS.

You could also try using a third-party tool like Rufus to create a modified installer that bypasses the TPM and Secure Boot checks.

Can confirm. Just to be sure, have you checked if TPM is enabled in your BIOS?

Yeah, and if it's enabled, you might also need to switch from "Discrete TPM" to "Firmware TPM" in the BIOS settings.

You could also check if there's a BIOS update for your motherboard, as that sometimes enables proper TPM 2.0 support.

This. Yeah, and after the BIOS update, you'll want to make sure the TPM setting is actually turned on in there—it's often off by default. Let me know if that works.
