I had the same problem last month after an update. Signing in with my password and re-adding the PIN was the fix for me. Hope that helps.

This happened to me too. I ended up having to remove the old PIN entirely and create a new one before it would stick.

Agreed. This happened to me after a recent update. I had to use my password to log in and then set up the PIN again from settings.

Same here. You could also try running the Windows Hello troubleshooter, which sometimes fixes these glitches automatically.

Can confirm. You could also check if temporarily signing in with your password and resetting the PIN from Settings works.

Same here. Yeah, that usually does the trick. Also, if you're on a domain, sometimes a quick reboot can help sync things up.

Yeah, You could also try signing in with your password, then resetting the PIN from Settings. Let me know if that works.
