You could also try updating your motherboard BIOS, since older versions sometimes don't enable fTPM correctly for Windows 11.

Can confirm. Yeah, and after you update the BIOS, you'll need to go back into its settings to find and enable fTPM again.

+1 Right, and sometimes it's under a weird name like "AMD PSP fTPM" or just "Platform Trust."

Same here. I had the same problem. I ended up having to update my motherboard BIOS before the fTPM option even showed up properly.

You could also try manually enabling fTPM in your BIOS under the security or AMD settings if the option is there but just not turned on.

This. Yeah, and double-check that the BIOS itself is updated, as that can sometimes unlock the fTPM option. Hope that helps.

Yeah, agreed. Also, if the option still doesn't show, try a BIOS reset to defaults after the update—that can jog it loose.

Yeah, Agreed, and one more thing—double-check that Secure Boot is enabled in the BIOS too, as Windows 11 requires both.

Same here. You could also try updating your motherboard BIOS, as a newer version might add fTPM 2.0 support for your CPU.

Yeah, that's a good point—what motherboard do you have?
