Glad that worked! For anyone else seeing that error, did you try temporarily disabling any third-party antivirus? Let me know if that works.

+1 Agreed, that's a solid fix. Also, double-check for any pending driver updates in Windows Update before you try again.

+1 I had the same problem. For me, it was a piece of old security software that I had to completely uninstall before the upgrade would finally go through. Good luck!

Agreed. This happened to me too. It turned out to be a driver for an old printer I never use anymore; removing that let the install finish.
