Yeah, that's a solid suggestion. Sometimes a BIOS update will even reset those settings, letting you toggle them on fresh.

You could also check if there's a specific setting in your BIOS, like an "OS Type" or "Windows Features" menu, that needs to be changed to "Windows 10/11" to unlock those options.

This happened to me. I had to update my motherboard's BIOS to a newer version before the TPM and Secure Boot options even became available to enable.

Agreed. Yeah, that was the fix for me too. One extra tip: after the BIOS update, you might need to load optimized defaults before the new settings will show up properly.

Also, double-check if there's a supervisor or admin password set in the BIOS, as that can sometimes lock those settings. Hope that helps.

Agreed. I had the same problem. For me, I had to update my motherboard's BIOS to a newer version before those TPM and Secure Boot options even became available to enable.

Can confirm. Yeah, exactly. Once you flash that newer BIOS, don't forget to actually go back in and enable those features—they often stay off by default.

Agreed. Also, double-check if your motherboard needs a separate setting like "Intel Platform Trust Technology" for TPM. Good luck!

This. Yeah, and sometimes you have to set a supervisor or admin password in the BIOS before those security options will even become available to enable.

You could also check if there's a BIOS/UEFI firmware update from your motherboard manufacturer, as that often unlocks those settings. Good luck!
