Can confirm. You could also try using the official Microsoft Media Creation Tool to do a clean install, which sometimes bypasses the checker's nagging.

Agreed. You could also check HP's support site for a BIOS update, since that's often what's missing for the TPM requirement.

This. I had the same problem with my Dell. Updating the BIOS was the only thing that finally got the TPM recognized. Let me know if that works.
