You could also try using the official Media Creation Tool to do a clean install, which sometimes bypasses the stricter upgrade checks. Good luck!

Same here. Another option is to check if there's a newer BIOS update from your motherboard manufacturer that might add TPM 2.0 support. Hope that helps.

Yeah, and if that doesn't work, have you tried using the official Media Creation Tool to force the upgrade instead?

Agreed. I had the same problem with my old 6700k. I used the Media Creation Tool to make a bootable USB and did a clean install, which finally worked.

+1 I had the same problem. I ended up using Rufus to make a USB installer that bypasses the TPM and CPU checks, and it upgraded just fine.

+1 This happened to me with a similar setup. I used the official Media Creation Tool but selected the option to keep nothing during the install, and it finally went through.

Yeah, that's the trick. Just make sure you've got a full backup before you wipe anything.

Can confirm. This happened to me with a similar older CPU. I used the official Media Creation Tool to bypass the check and do a clean install.

Can confirm. You could also try using Rufus to create a bootable USB, since it has an option to remove the TPM and secure boot requirements. Let me know if that works.
