This. You could also try temporarily disabling any third-party antivirus software during the install, as that sometimes interferes.

Can confirm. You could also check if there's a pending firmware update for your motherboard in Windows Update or your manufacturer's support site.

I had the same problem. For me, it was a specific driver from my motherboard's audio suite that Windows 11 didn't like during the install. Good luck!

Same here. This happened to me too. It turned out my BIOS needed an update even though all the main settings were correct.

Same here. Yeah, that BIOS update did the trick for me as well. Also double-check that your storage drivers are up to date before trying again. Good luck!

Agreed, and one more thing—make sure you’ve got enough free space on your system drive, sometimes that’s the sneaky culprit.

Agreed. I had the same problem. For me, it was a driver conflict with my older graphics card that didn't show up until late in the install.

This happened to me too. A clean install from a USB drive finally worked when the upgrade kept failing. Hope that helps.

Can confirm. Yeah, sometimes a specific driver or even a bit of old software can block it, have you checked for any incompatible apps listed in the setup log? Let me know if that works.

Same here. Also, have you double-checked that your storage drive is using GPT and not the older MBR partition style?
