Has anyone else hit a wall trying to upgrade? My Windows 10 PC meets the CPU and TPM requirements, but the PC Health Check app says I don't have enough RAM. I have 4GB installed and it runs Windows 10 fine. The error just says "This PC doesn't meet the minimum system requirements." Is 4GB really not enough, or is there a workaround? I'd rather not buy new RAM for an older laptop.

Yeah, same boat. Quick tip: Windows 11 officially needs 4GB, but it really wants more like 8GB to run smoothly.

This. Agreed, and it's also worth checking if any of your RAM is being reserved for hardware—that can sometimes push you under the limit.

+1 You could also check if a BIOS update is available for your motherboard, as that can sometimes resolve compatibility issues with the checker.

Can confirm. You could also try a clean boot to see if background apps are reserving too much memory, then run the check again.

Same here. Agreed. Also, make sure you're on the latest Windows 10 version before running the check again—sometimes that helps.

+1 I had the same problem. I ended up adding another 4GB stick, and the check passed immediately. Let me know if that works.

Yeah, 4GB is the absolute bare minimum for Windows 11, so that's likely the blocker. Let me know if that works.

Can confirm. You could also check if there's a BIOS update for your motherboard, as that sometimes resolves compatibility flags with the health check tool.
