Yeah, I had the same problem. I finally got it installed on my 6700k, but the performance was so sluggish I rolled back to 10.

You could also try a clean install from a USB instead of an upgrade, sometimes that bypasses the checker entirely.

Same here. Yeah, a clean install is the way to go. Just make sure you back up everything first. Good luck!
