Is there a way to stop the security warning about my device from popping up?

Same here. I had the same problem. I ended up going into my antivirus app itself and found a setting to turn off just those "status" alerts, which finally stopped it. Hope that helps.

Same here. You could also check the Windows Security app under "Virus & threat protection" and look for notification settings there.

+1 Yeah, that's a good point. Sometimes those alerts are tied to a specific scan or feature you can temporarily snooze in there too.
