Agreed. If that still doesn't stick, a quick call to the automated activation line often forces it through.

Can confirm. You could also try the slmgr /rearm command in an admin Command Prompt as a last resort before a full reinstall.

Yeah, that slmgr trick can help. Also, double-check your Microsoft account is linked to your digital license in Settings > Activation.

Agreed, linking the account is key. Sometimes just signing out and back into your Microsoft account in the Activation settings can kick it loose.

Same here. I had the same problem. For me, running the activation troubleshooter again after a full reboot finally got it to recognize my digital license.

+1 Did you check if your Microsoft account is linked to your digital license in settings?

Yeah, that's a good call. Also, sometimes just leaving it connected to the internet for a day lets it sort itself out automatically.

Can confirm. I had the same problem after my upgrade. Running the activation troubleshooter and selecting "I changed hardware on this device recently" finally got it to recognize my digital license.

Agreed. You could also try using the command prompt with the slmgr /rearm command, then restarting. Another option is to temporarily link your Microsoft account to the digital license if you haven't already. Hope that helps.
