Yeah, I had the same problem with an older laptop. The 4GB RAM requirement is strict, so I ended up just sticking with Windows 10 on that machine.

Yeah, that bypass trick can work. Just remember to back up your files first since a clean install wipes everything.

You could also try restarting Windows Explorer from the Task Manager, since that often fixes unresponsive taskbar icons. Hope that helps.

+1 Yeah, and just to add, double-check that TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot are enabled in your BIOS, as that's a common blocker even with a compatible CPU. Good luck!
