Agreed, and a quick tip: if you go that route, make sure Secure Boot is enabled in your BIOS too, it's a common snag.

Same here. Yeah, this happened to me too. I also had to go into the advanced sharing settings and turn on network discovery for private networks on both computers. Good luck!

+1 I had the same problem. My old i7 was perfectly capable, but the official list just locked it out, so I had to use the workaround with the registry edit.
