Can confirm. You could also try running the Windows Update troubleshooter, as it can sometimes automatically fix underlying issues with the installation files.

Agreed. You could also check if there's a "Load Legacy Option ROM" setting that needs to be disabled first.

+1 Yep, and after you switch to UEFI in the BIOS, you'll also need to find and enable the Secure Boot option in there.
