I had the same problem. After the upgrade, my location and diagnostic settings were back on, and I had to go through and turn everything off again.

+1 Agreed, and if it's truly not there, you can still force the upgrade with a registry edit to bypass the TPM check. Hope that helps.

Yeah, that was my fix too. Quick tip: check your motherboard maker's site for the update instead of using Windows Update.

Same here. I had the same problem. For me, it was a driver conflict with the host computer's chipset that only showed up on the portable install.

This. Yeah, that TPM check is a real pain. One tip: double-check it's enabled in your BIOS, not just the Windows settings.
