Same here. This happened to me with an older i5. I used the Media Creation Tool to make a USB installer and it bypassed the check.

Same here. Agreed, enabling fTPM in the BIOS is the right step. Just make sure you also disable any legacy or CSM boot options for it to be detected properly.

Same here. You could also try temporarily disabling any third-party antivirus software, as that's another common blocker for these upgrades.
