This. Agreed, that CPU is the issue. You could also check your BIOS for a TPM setting, but on that older hardware, it likely just won't be compatible.

Yeah, and if you're not sure how to check those BIOS settings, a quick search for your motherboard model plus "enable TPM 2.0" should get you a guide.

Agreed. This happened to me with an older i5. The TPM setting was the fix, but my CPU was still on the support list, so you might be stuck there.
