Yeah, that's solid advice. Also, double-check that your RAM is actually running at its full speed in the BIOS, as sometimes it can be underclocked.

Can confirm. Yeah, and after you update the BIOS, you'll need to go back into its settings to find and enable fTPM again.

This happened to me. I had to go a step further and clear the TPM from the security settings in the BIOS before the upgrade would finally take.

This happened to me with my 7th gen i7. I ended up using the Media Creation Tool to bypass the TPM check and it finally went through. Hope that helps.
