I had the same problem with my i5. It was the TPM being disabled in the BIOS that was the real blocker, even though the CPU was fine.

Same here. Agreed, that upgrade can really bog down older hardware. A quick tip: try disabling some of the new visual effects in Settings > Accessibility > Visual Effects to free up some resources.

This. You could also try enabling TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot in your BIOS if they're not already on. Hope that helps.
