Same here. I had the same problem. The real kicker for me was having to enable Secure Boot, even though my PC was plenty fast enough. Good luck!

I had the same problem. I was stuck at 4GB too, and the only fix was buying and installing more RAM—after that, the upgrade went through.

Same here. Agreed, that driver issue is super common. Also, try temporarily disconnecting any non-essential USB devices before starting the upgrade.
