I had the same problem with an older i7. I used the registry edit workaround to bypass the check and it installed fine. Hope that helps.

Yeah, Agreed, and just to add - sometimes you need to enable TPM 2.0 in the BIOS too, not just Secure Boot.

I had the same problem. I had to enable it in the BIOS and also clear the TPM in the security settings before Windows would finally recognize it.

This. You could also check Microsoft's official lifecycle site for exact dates, but generally "end-of-support" means no more security patches, so your device becomes more vulnerable.

Same here. Yeah, that CPU is just barely outside the cutoff. A small tip: you can still do a clean install with an ISO, but it's not officially supported.

+1 You could also try using the official Microsoft bypass script, though it's not recommended for daily use.

Yeah, that's a good point. Also double-check that you're saving the BIOS changes with F10 before exiting, it's easy to miss.

+1 This happened to me. I had to go into the firewall advanced settings and make sure the rules for file sharing were actually enabled for the private network. Good luck!
