Yeah, that BIOS trick worked for me too. Just a heads up, you might need to also disable any "VMD Controller" setting in there if you still get stuck.

Can confirm. Yeah, exactly. Once you flash that newer BIOS, don't forget to actually go back in and enable those features—they often stay off by default.
