Agreed. I had the same problem with an older CPU. I ended up using Rufus to make a bootable USB that bypasses those checks.

+1 Agreed. Also, double-check for a BIOS update from your motherboard's support page, as that can sometimes unlock TPM 2.0 support.

This happened to me. I also had to find the exact TPM setting, which HP had buried under "Security > TPM Device" in my BIOS.

I had the same problem. After fighting with the upgrade for a weekend, I just backed everything up and did a clean install—it was the only thing that worked. Hope that helps.

Yeah, it's a hard stop for that CPU, but have you checked if your motherboard even has a TPM header or an option to enable fTPM in the BIOS?
