This. I had the same problem with my Dell. Updating the BIOS was the only thing that finally got the TPM recognized. Let me know if that works.

Same here. Yeah, that's a solid suggestion. Also, try running the installer from a clean boot to rule out software conflicts causing that error.

Can confirm. I had the same problem on my ASUS board. I had to go into the BIOS and clear the Secure Boot keys under the key management section, then re-enable it.

Can confirm. This happened to me. For me, it was a specific audio driver that was technically updated but just incompatible; rolling it back finally let the upgrade complete.
