Can confirm. Yeah, that's a solid suggestion. Also, double-check that your BIOS is set to UEFI mode and not Legacy/CSM for the boot option.

I had the same problem. That error code is usually a driver conflict, and my backup was a lifesaver when I had to do a clean install.
