Can confirm. That trick can work, but did you also try turning off TPM and Secure Boot in your BIOS before running the installer?

This happened to me too, and that same error code popped up. A quick restart actually let me change the settings again.

This, and sometimes you also need to clear any existing platform keys in the BIOS to reset it.
