Agreed, a BIOS update can sometimes enable TPM 2.0. Also, double-check your security settings in the BIOS—sometimes it's just disabled by default.

Yeah, You could also temporarily disable any third-party antivirus or security software before trying the upgrade again.

I had the same problem. Running SFC didn't work for me, but a quick system restore to before the restart did the trick.
