Yeah, Agreed. Also, if you go that route, double-check that your motherboard has TPM 2.0 disabled in the BIOS—that can sometimes cause the CPU error too.

+1 Yeah, that key reset was the fix for me too—after you do that, make sure you select "Load Default Secure Boot keys" in your ASUS BIOS.
