Yeah, that 0xC1900101 is often driver-related; have you tried updating your graphics and chipset drivers before the upgrade?

Yeah, I had the same problem with that exact error. It turned out a piece of old security software was blocking it, even though the assistant said I was good. Good luck!

Same here. Yeah, the high contrast ones are a bit extreme though—have you already tried adjusting the transparency effects setting?
